Bio

Born in Leesburg, Florida native Hunter Fletcher loved music since the day he was born and destined to become a musician. Moving to Gulfport Florida when he was 5 was a life changing event for him. Gulfport is comprised of many musicians and artists, rather than hanging out with the local kids Hunter sought out the artists and musicians. It was then he started to cut his teeth in the public spotlight. He was learning to weld sculptures at 5 and then went on to become a glass blower. He bought an electric guitar at age 8 and started to play it then switched to bass guitar when his father decided to pick it back up and start playing music again. After 2 years of playing bass he was asked to start playing at open mics with local musicians. He then started playing guitar again. Acoustic this time around. Soon after he was playing out regularly with bands at venues throughout the Tampa Bay area. Hunter continues to learn and progress as a musician. He strives for perfection and is his own worst critic. He has been playing out the past few years, most recently as the guitarist for RootBound Revival, and at such shows and venues as  Suwannee Roots Revival , Suwannee Reunion, BayGrass Bluegrass Fest with Billy Strings, First Night Downtown St. Petersburg, Old Key West, Fubar, Mad Beach Fish House, The St. Pete Folk Fest, Radio Station WMNF and The Palladium in St Petersburg Fl.
